Firm Set to Launch 'Travelpreneur Expo' in International Edition

Oludayo Gideon, the Group CEO of Aeroport Group, announced that Nigeria’s travel and tourism sector will host its inaugural Travelpreneur Conference and Expo on September 19-20, 2025.

As per the declaration signed by the head of Aeroport on Tuesday, the event organized by Travconex Projects Limited—a division of the Aeroport Group—is intended to be Nigeria’s inaugural specialized travel trade exhibition and conference. This gathering aims at fostering capacity enhancement, promoting innovation, and driving business growth within the realm of travel professions.

Expressing his views via the statement, the organizer of the event highlighted its significance in molding the future of travel in Nigeria.

"Gideon emphasized that this event serves as an elite stage for travel entrepreneurs, industry participants, and the broader public to network, gain knowledge, and discover travel-related prospects," he said.

Titled 'Shaping the Future of Travel: Enabling Entrepreneurs in a New Epoch,' this event will showcase keynote speeches, panel discussions with experts, product displays, along with the first-ever Travelpreneur Awards celebrating outstanding achievements and innovations in the travel and tourism industry.

Olaotokunbo Olagoke, the Project Manager at TRAVCONEXPO, stated that the initiative is well-timed, consistent with international trends, and tackles the transformation of the travel sector following the pandemic.

He remarked, "Our emphasis is on promoting adaptability, sustainability, and the impact of new technologies in the travel sector."

Reflecting this view, Project Director Akinkunmi Awotundun mentioned that the purpose of the gathering was to establish a collaborative environment for sharing insights, building connections, and fostering strategic development.

TRAVCONEXPO is more than just a conference; it's a movement aimed at reshaping travel experiences in Nigeria and throughout the surrounding area.
