WhatsApp continues to be the leading platform, utilized by 75% of the people, among whom 95% interact with it every day.
Facebook ranks second with 62% of users, trailed by Instagram at 42%, which notably appeals more to female and younger audiences.
For the first time, YouTube appears at number four with a usage rate of 40%. TikTok has seen an increase, now standing at 24% usage. Conversely, both Snapchat and Telegram have experienced a decline, each being utilized by only 8% of Moroccan users.
Even with broad acceptance, a consistent digital gap persists. Approximately one out of every five Moroccans, particularly older individuals, those living in rural areas, and people from lower-income backgrounds, remain disconnected from the internet.
