Visa has introduced Visa Intelligence Commerce, which makes its payment networks accessible to developers and engineers for developing AI-driven commerce solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
It provides a set of APIs along with a commercial partnership program for AI platforms. Developers have the ability to implement Visa’s AI-driven commerce features.
According to a press statement, the international payment system will collaborate with Ant International, Grab, and Tencent to expand AI-driven commerce by providing a 'safe and smooth' purchasing process.
"We think artificial intelligence agents will increasingly participate in commercial activities, ranging from managing everyday transactions like placing food orders to undertaking more intricate tasks such as acquiring event tickets or arranging travel bookings," stated T. R. Ramachandran, who leads product and solution efforts for Asia Pacific at Visa.
