Eduvision, in partnership with Paratus, is actively working to transform education in Namibia by bringing high-quality teaching, digital resources, and technology to rural communities.

Founded in 2018, the initiative focuses on using e-learning solutions to empower schools in marginalized areas. By providing modern technology and digital resources, the partnership aims to deliver equitable, future-ready education to all learners, regardless of their location. Eduvision’s classrooms are designed to reimagine teaching and learning, ensuring that every student has the tools and opportunities to succeed.

As of 2025, Eduvision has connected 22 schools through its classrooms and streaming technology, reaching over 12,400 learners. The programme provides full digital learning support, offering an accessible alternative to traditional private education costs.

The programme’s e-learning model combines interactive displays, cameras, sound systems, microphones, and Panopto recording software. This technology enables real-time teaching, promotes interactive engagement, and ensures continued access to learning through recorded lessons. However, one of its core technical challenges remains reliable internet due to the extreme remoteness of many rural schools, as well as establishing and maintaining stable connections.

Eduvision also ensures all recorded content is aligned with the national curriculum to maintain educational consistency and compliance, reflecting the latest academic standards and learner needs; and is designed to support both learners and educators, enhancing teaching effectiveness and learning outcomes.

One of its key achievements was the significant academic improvements among participating schools, according to the 2023/2024 national results. The data showed that grade 11 experienced a 63% improvement in biology, 66% in chemistry, 75% in mathematics, and 81% improvement in physical science. Meanwhile, the grade 12 saw a 60% improvement in biology and chemistry, 75% improvement in mathematics, and 100% improvement in physical science.

While educators are driven by passion and purpose, achieving lasting change also requires sustained financial support. The Adopt-a-School Initiative was introduced to bridge this gap. Through this collaborative model, sponsors help fund the initial installation of the interactive displays and contribute to the ongoing monthly operational costs of the school they support.

Furthermore, in collaboration with regional directors, Eduvision identifies schools where support will have the greatest impact. Sponsors are then invited to select their preferred regions, creating a purposeful and sustainable partnership. All donor contributions are allocated directly to learners, schools, and educational delivery, ensuring transparency, trust, and results.

To further ensure the success of the programme, the team conducts monthly support visits, travelling over 9,000 kilometers to reach all participating schools. These visits provide essential technical assistance, motivational support, and on-the-ground guidance, ensuring each school remains fully equipped and engaged in delivering quality education.
