The video showed Yang Chi-seung disposing of his car ahead of the gym's closure. He was forced to sell his car. As the gym was running out, I tried to refund the members, so I thought I had to sell the car because I was short of money" he said.

Members paid for the gym in advance to register anyway, so I bought that car with that money, so that car wasn't actually mine. It belongs to the members. So it's right to sell that and return the membership fee. Since there should be no damage to members, we should try our best not to damage them as much as possible. That's the least I can do," he said, expressing a sense of responsibility.

After the gym eviction date was confirmed, employees were busy processing refunds, and Yang Su-seung soothed his regret by conducting PT classes for members until the end.

Long-time members, including actor Sung Hoon, expressed their gratitude and regret to Yang in a video letter. In response, Yang Chi-seung "I didn't think this day would come after 25 years of running the gym. I was going to go to the gym until I got old and died, but I ended it like this. After the last class, the gym closed, and members and employees could not hide their upset in tears. Yang Su-seung also shed tears as he looked at the gym being demolished.

Meanwhile, Yang Chi-seung opened a gym by renting the first and second basement floors of a commercial building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the condition of paying a deposit of 350 million won and a monthly rent of 1.8 million won in 2019.

However, it was on the verge of closing the gym after receiving a notice of eviction and compensation from the Gangnam-gu Office in 2023. As it turns out, the building is a 'Donation Payments' building that must be returned to the district office after a certain period of time, and Yang Se-seung did not know this at the time of the contract.

In the end, Yang Chi-seung lost about 1.5 billion won without getting back all the deposits, and eventually closed the gym. Since then, he has filed a national petition demanding the institutionalization of the tenant's obligation to notify and the legalization of the eviction measure procedure, calling for rights protection and damage relief.
