Dyna.AI, a worldwide frontrunner in AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), has commenced its activities in Nigeria through a private 'Nigeria Dyna Day' gathering held in Lagos. This event introduced and familiarized attendees with their range of AI-driven offerings tailored for Nigeria’s developing financial sector.
Tagged as 'Nigeria Dyna Day' with the theme "AI Unleashed: Transforming Nigeria's Financial Horizon," this gathering assembled prominent figures from Nigeria’s artificial intelligence, finance, fintech, telecommunications industries, along with officials from governmental bodies and large corporations.
During his introductory comments, Tomas Skoumal, who serves as the chairman and co-president of Dyna.AI, highlighted the crucial role of Nigeria and the wider African market. He mentioned, "It is logical for us to begin our venture in Nigeria."
No other African nation is larger than this one—"that’s where the energy lies," he remarked. He pointed out that Africa isn’t merely seen as "the future" anymore; instead, it's currently undergoing significant transformation propelled by swift digitization and financial technology advancements.
"This is an ideal moment for us to be present," he emphasized, underscoring that Dyna.AI views technology as a crucial link to promoting financial inclusiveness and sustained development throughout the area.
Dyna.AI's cutting-edge Agentic AI offerings were presented by Skoumal, featuring their exclusive Agent Studio along with sector-tailored language models. These innovations aim to drive smart automation in various domains such as customer support, marketing, debt collection, human resources, and beyond.
He also underscored the company’s long-term ambition to invest in local talent, stating, “We’re not just here to sell a product—we’re here to build infrastructure, create local jobs, and scale innovation from Nigeria to the rest of Africa.”
At the event, Dyna.AI demonstrated its cutting-edge AI technologies such as AvatarGPT, which brings to life an interactive digital humanoid. They also introduced VoiceGPT, a voice assistant capable of using genuine regional dialects like those found in Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo languages for smooth interactions. Live presentations highlighted how these advancements enhance both customer interaction and staff experience.
At the event, delivering the keynote speech was Tokoni Peter Igoin, who serves as the Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovation. He emphasized the federal government's aspiration for establishing a safe and progressive digital environment.
"The Nigerian government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is dedicated to fostering responsible innovation. Their strategy for artificial intelligence and fintech promotes creativity within a supportive structure that guarantees transparency, safeguards personal information, and ensures robust digital security," he stated.
In his comments, Olatunbosun Alake, the Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, provided perspectives from the government and regulatory viewpoint.
He stated that the Lagos State government is moving forward with plans to widely adopt and regulate artificial intelligence within the state. They intend to introduce the initial set of AI guidelines for implementation and oversight, which are expected to be released over the next few weeks.
