It’s worth noting that President Pena of Paraguay is visiting India at Prime Minister Modi's invitation from June 2nd to 4th. His entourage includes ministers, top bureaucrats, and commercial delegates. Before heading back to Paraguay on June 4, 2025, President Pena plans to tour Mumbai too. While in Mumbai, President Pena intends to engage with local politicians, entrepreneurs, startup founders, inventors, and technological experts. This official trip marks President Pena’s inaugural journey to India and represents just the second presidential visit from Paraguay, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Diplomatic links were officially formed between India and Paraguay on September 13, 1961, fostering amicable bonds over time.
