Among the five legendary amplifiers in the MESA/Boogie Reference Signature Collection is an exact replica of Carlos Santana's original "Budokan" Mark I. Preserved with care in MESA's Tone Lab, these "reference amps" are critical to preserving historical authenticity and offer priceless insights that help shape future designs and steer the MESA legacy forward.
Legendary "Tone Boy" Doug West, MESA's in-house tone expert for more than 40 years, tweaked all five amps to their sweet spots in a variety of styles. The Reference Cabs
