Africa Skills Hub Foundation Named 'Top Community Youth Empowerment Champion'

The Ghana 'Outstanding Community Leadership Conference and Awards' recognized ASH Foundation as the most outstanding advocate for youth empowerment during their 2025 Leadership Conference and Awards, which took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

This prestigious award highlights the African Skills Hub's impactful efforts in fostering youth development and promoting economic integration throughout Ghana, reaching both remote agricultural areas and growing city centers.

The ASH’s daring, community-focused approach provides young women and individuals with essential skills, entrepreneurial assistance, and leadership resources to succeed in today’s economic landscape.

Daniel Amoako Antwi, who serves as the Executive Director of Africa Skills Hub Foundation, conveyed the organization's enthusiasm upon receiving the Most Outstanding Community Advocate for Youth Empowerment Award during his speech.

This effort has led to a claimed 60 percent rise in job creation and employment for those involved in the program during the last nine years.

The Africa Skills Hub integrates practical learning experiences for participants via comprehensive follow-up support. This includes assistance in areas such as regulations, information technology, finance, law, market entry, and intellectual property services.

ASH furthermore oversees a specialized micro-credit fund aimed at backing enterprises led by young individuals and women, underscoring its dedication to tackling systemic hurdles with data-driven approaches.

In the future, the Africa Skills Hub will continue to expand its influence by forming strategic alliances, embracing digital advancements, and offering targeted enterprise accelerators designed for the increasing demands of African youth.

The executive director also mentioned that this acknowledgment confirms the worth of their efforts and bolsters their commitment to expanding opportunities for young people and women throughout Ghana.
