Ecobank and ADB Leaders Make Key Business Visits to GCAA

Delegations from two banks operating in Ghana have visited the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) for business purposes.

First up was Ecobank Ghana Limited, headed by Mr. Joseph Ankamah, Acting Head of Corporate Banking. They visited GCAA’s interim Managing Director Rev. Stephen Wilfred Arthur and his management team at the organization’s headquarters on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

On June 5, 2025, a group from the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), headed by Deputy Managing Director Professor Ferdinand Ahiakpor, echoed a comparable appeal.

During both gatherings, the Acting Director-General of GCAA, Rev. Stephen Wilfred Arthur, cordially greeted the delegations and highlighted the crucial part played by the banking industry in aiding the operational and strategic goals of GCAA.

Reverend Arthur similarly conveyed his hope that the current operational connection between the Authority and the financial institutions would strengthen and transform into the preferred collaborative stage.

Both financial institutions offered their congratulations to Reverend Arthur on his new position as Acting Director-General and conveyed their best wishes for his future achievements in this capacity.

They highlighted that the visit was part of a larger effort by their respective banks aimed at strengthening and developing strategic partnerships with important public entities like the GCAA.
